Heatshield 2000 Series Aluminum Casting Lubricants
The Heatshield 2000 Series of aluminum casting lubricants has been specifically designed to replace natural vegetable esters when casting aluminum ingots in operations with automatic or continuous lubricators. Because of their unique chemical nature, Heatshield 2000 Series products do not promote algae or bacterial growth in recirculating water systems like natural vegetable esters (i.e. peanut or castor oils). For this reason, Heatshield 2000 Series products provide freedom from all issues associated with algae and bacterial growth, such as plugged strainers and clogged orifices in the molds. In fact, a 1% solution of Heatshield 2000 Series products has practically no BOD and approximately one half the COD requirements as a 1% emulsion of a natural vegetable ester.
It is manufactured from non-hazardous materials and requires no hazardous warning labels of any kind.

- Fully synthetic
